Melt candy wafers separately in microwaveable trays according to package instructions.
Use the brush from the painter’s palette to completely coat the bottom and sides of each mold cavity with one color of melted wafers. Chill 1-2 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine butter, confectioners’ sugar, peppermint extract and corn syrup together in medium-sized mixing bowl. Beat ingredients together until mixture becomes a smooth dough that can be shaped into a ball.
Roll into ¼” balls then press each ball into the cavities of the candy mold, on top of the hardened wafers.
Spoon melted wafers over the peppermint filling, so that it is completely covered. Chill 10-15 minutes.
Remove finished candy pieces from the mold by inverting the mold onto a flat surface and tapping gently until pieces fall out.
Once candy pieces are finished and have reached room temperature, wear candymaking gloves to arrange patties on a plate or in a Make'n Mold box.
